Last Month my job was gone,
where I'd worked all my life.
My company moved to China,
abandoned me and my wife.

I thank those Golden Arches,
'cause I'm starting there today.
Now I'm working for minimum wage,
and they can't take that away.

From the companies in Minnesota,
to the jobs in Tennessee.
Across the border of Texas they went,
where they work for nearly free.

From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
The unemployment lines are bigger,
because our jobs have went away.
